Position Summary...

The role involves leading and developing teams through teaching, training, and active listening to associates. Responsibilities include touring stores, providing feedback, communicating and collaborating across all levels regarding store operations, utilizing technology, and supporting business initiatives. The position requires introducing and leading change efforts, providing clear expectations, and implementing business solutions. It also involves modeling exceptional customer service standards, managing customer service initiatives, developing action plans to address deficiencies, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

The role drives financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes. It includes developing and mentoring associates, ensuring diversity and inclusion, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. The position requires adherence to company policies, supporting ethical standards, and fostering a culture of belonging and respect. It also emphasizes acting with integrity, serving customers, striving for excellence, and supporting Walmart's community and sustainability initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific background check and training is required. Associates must complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications...

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership. Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing, is preferred.
