What you'll do... Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads change efforts, provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicates business objectives to teams. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, manages customer service initiatives, and develops action plans to improve customer experience. Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, and ensuring sales and profit goals are met. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing contributions. Ensures compliance with policies and supports Walmart's mission and values, fostering a culture of belonging and integrity. Promotes continuous learning, embraces diversity, and acts with integrity. Focuses on serving customers, making data-driven decisions, and striving for excellence through innovation and resilience.
At Walmart, we offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, health benefits, 401(k), stock purchase, paid time off, and other benefits including education programs like Live Better U. The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable differential and performance bonuses.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. Additional requirements include successful completion of required trainings and assessments, and for certain facilities, background checks and certifications.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership, or certificates in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising multiple direct reports with performance management responsibilities.
