Position Summary...

This role involves leading and developing teams by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Responsibilities include communicating and collaborating across all levels regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The position also involves introducing and leading change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance, and implementing business solutions. Additionally, the role models exceptional customer service standards, manages customer service initiatives, develops action plans to address deficiencies, and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

The role drives financial performance and sales by reviewing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, monitoring inventory flow, and developing strategies to mitigate shrinkage and meet sales and profit goals. It includes supervising and developing hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing performance, as well as recruiting qualified staff to meet growth targets.

Further responsibilities include coordinating activities with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, building accountability, and promoting continuous learning. The role emphasizes building high-performing teams, embracing diversity, creating a culture of belonging, and acting with integrity by upholding high standards of ethics and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm sales facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. Facilities selling only ammunition may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
