Position Summary...
What you'll do...
- Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
- Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
- Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and supporting community outreach programs.
- Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved, develops action plans to correct deficiencies, and leads process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
- Drives financial performance by reviewing PL statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognizing contributions.
- Coordinates and oversees job-related activities, develops relationships with key stakeholders, and supports plans to meet customer and business needs.
- Ensures compliance with policies, supports company mission and values, and promotes a culture of integrity, ethics, and belonging.
- Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and creates a workplace where associates feel supported and connected.
- Acts with integrity, maintains high standards of ethics, and supports Walmart's sustainability and community initiatives.
- Delivers results by focusing on customer service, making data-driven decisions, and balancing short and long-term priorities.
- Supports continuous improvement and technological adoption to enhance performance.

The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable differential and bonuses. Additional compensation may include regional pay zones depending on location.
Minimum Qualifications...
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For firearm-related positions, successful completion of background checks and training is required.
- Must attend and complete all mandatory training and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications...
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related certification.
- Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
