The position requires modeling exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, resolving customer complaints, developing action plans for improvement, and leading process enhancements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Driving financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes. Developing strategies to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals is also essential.
Supervising and developing associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46, plus applicable differentials, with additional bonuses and location-based pay zones.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. Facilities selling only ammunition may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership. Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing, is preferred.
