Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL (Profit & Loss) statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals for the business area.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and promotes a sense of belonging in the workplace. Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and building accountability. Identifies improvement opportunities and demonstrates adaptability and continuous learning.
Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity, supporting the company's mission and values. Implements related action plans and guides team members in applying these principles in business practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46, with additional compensation including bonuses and location-based pay zones.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training are required. Associates must complete all required training and assessments.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
