Position Summary...

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and communicate effectively to provide excellent customer service. Maintain flexibility to meet business needs, keep stock levels optimal, and control shrinkage.
2. Be an Expert: Plan bakery productions, ensure consistency in quality and decorative designs, follow recipes and measurements, work with decorating tools, and adhere to food safety standards, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management. Operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product layout execution.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to enhance sales, improve the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Use handheld technology for decision-making related to production, merchandise, ordering, training, and quality, while encouraging others to adopt new tools.
4. Be an Owner: Drive bakery performance, ensure quality and date control, prepare for seasonal events, identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service, and interacting with associates to support their development, influence, and inspiration.
6. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.
7. Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.
