Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets member expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
2. Be an Expert: Plan bakery productions, ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, follow recipes and measurements, work with decorating tools, ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management. Operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product and layout execution.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for decision-making related to production, merchandise, ordering, training, and quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
4. Be an Owner: Drive bakery performance, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, prepare for seasonal events, identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve member concerns.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand through high-quality service, interact with associates, understand roadblocks, and assist in training, developing, and inspiring team members. Foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.
6. Compliance and Work Management: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete assignments by collaborating with managers and peers, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.
