Position Summary...

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, provide excellent customer service, be flexible to business needs, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
2. Be an Expert: Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, follow recipes and measurements, work with decorating tools to create flowers and lettering, adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, manage inventory, operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product layout execution.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for decision-making related to production, merchandise, ordering, training, and quality, while encouraging others to adopt these tools.
4. Be an Owner: Oversee bakery performance, ensure quality and date control, reduce waste, prepare for seasonal events, identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service, interacting with associates to identify challenges, and training and inspiring team members in a respectful and supportive manner.
6. Compliance and Work Management: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, implement action plans, collaborate with managers and partners, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and adapt to feedback and change.
