Position Summary
As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the entire club meets the members' expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and communicate effectively to provide excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Plan bakery productions to ensure consistency in quality and decorative designs, follow recipes and measurements, work with decorating tools to create decorative flowers and lettering, and ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management. Operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product and layout execution.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise, ordering, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive bakery performance by ensuring quality and date control, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues to meet their needs.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing members' experience, modeling high-quality service, and engaging with associates to train, develop, and motivate them. Foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.
- Compliance and Work Management: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, and seeking continuous improvement opportunities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential additional premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 6 months' experience in a fresh production environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to complete required training and assessments successfully
