Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. You will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially since they’re part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

What you'll do:
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate effectively, and be flexible to the needs of the business, including working in other areas as needed.
- Be an Expert: Prepare bakery merchandise based on daily needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to policies and food safety standards. Maintain and sanitize equipment, understand product and layout execution, and ensure compliance with sanitation and inventory management.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate decisions related to production, merchandise, ordering, training, and product quality, encouraging others to do the same.
- Be an Owner: Ensure operational excellence by maintaining work areas, ensuring quality and date control standards, securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise, eliminating waste, and assisting members with purchasing decisions.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing tasks at the highest level of quality with energy and passion. Comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.

The hourly wage range is $17.00 to $24.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the location. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, or work performed.
