A leading company in the retail sector is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to oversee operations in Statesboro, GA. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining productivity. Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety). Monitor and manage productivity by reviewing and analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by training associates on policies and procedures, monitoring compliance, and maintaining supporting documentation. Address concerns from associates, customers, or suppliers by listening and consulting to determine corrective actions or recommendations. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and supporting training and development needs. Manage maintenance operations, ensuring performance and compliance with regulations (OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, etc.). Oversee financial aspects by monitoring expenses, asset utilization, and analyzing reports. Uphold leadership expectations such as respect for individuals, acting with integrity, service to the customer, and striving for excellence, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, and promoting ethical standards. Associate's Degree or Technical Certification in an industrial field with 1 year supervisory experience, or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial, or related field, or 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial environment, including management of workload, hiring, and promotion. Must complete all required training and assessments.
Experience in compliance, general maintenance, Microsoft Office, refrigeration, supervising associates, and warehouse management systems. Preferred degrees include Bachelor's in Business or Logistics.
