Position Summary...

Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing, e.g., customers, suppliers, associates.

Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals, e.g., production, quality, safety.

Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.

Maintain quality and safety standards by training associates on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and maintaining procedures and documentation.

Identify concerns from associates, customers, or suppliers, and determine corrective actions or make recommendations to resolve issues.

Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling policies and procedures, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation processes.

Manage maintenance department operations, ensuring performance related to warehouse equipment and compliance with regulations such as OSHA, NFPA, DOT, etc.

Manage financial aspects like tracking expenses, capital expenditures, and asset utilization, and analyze business reports.
