Position Summary

Walmart is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our logistics facility. The role involves managing staff, ensuring safety and quality standards, and facilitating effective communication among team members and external partners.

What you'll do

• Communicate with individuals or groups, verbally and in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates.
• Implement business plans by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet facility objectives.
• Monitor and analyze business reports to manage productivity.
• Maintain safety and quality standards by training associates, monitoring compliance, and supporting documentation management.
• Resolve associate, customer, or supplier concerns through listening and consultation, recommending corrective actions.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and participating in hiring and promotion processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year supervisory experience, or Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent Walmart logistics management or supervisory experience, with successful completion of required training programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Office, supervising associates, and Walmart logistics management. Education preferred includes Bachelor’s degrees in Business or Logistics.
