Position Summary...
Join Walmart's dynamic and dedicated Asset Protection team in Supply Chain as an Area Manager for Asset Protection - All DC/FC, with a focus on supporting our Supply Chain Pharmacy operations. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our assets, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and leading efforts to minimize loss and shrinkage across our Distribution Centers (DC) and Fulfillment Centers (FC). We are seeking a proactive and skilled professional who is passionate about security, risk management, and continuous improvement. Bring your expertise to Walmart and help us maintain a secure and efficient supply chain network, contributing to our mission of delivering value and quality to our customers.
What you'll do...
  • Develop and implement asset protection policies, procedures, and strategies across Distribution Centers (DC) and Fulfillment Centers (FC).
  • Conduct investigations into security breaches, theft, and vandalism, and report findings to management.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems (e.g., CCTV, alarms) and ensure their functionality.
  • Coordinate and support regulatory inspections and internal audits, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental laws.
  • Implement and monitor loss prevention programs to minimize shrinkage and protect company assets.
  • Lead and train a team of associates in asset protection practices and emergency procedures.

  • Experience with risk management processes, including conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation plans.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00-$98,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management; Criminal Justice, Security, Industrial Hygiene; Environmental Science, or related field.
Option 2: 2 years' experience in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety or Asset Protections, Security, within Supply Chain, Retail.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
