A leading company seeks a professional in Environmental Health and Safety to oversee compliance and improve workplace conditions. The role includes managing safety inspections, risk assessments, and communication with stakeholders. Ideal candidates will possess relevant degrees, certifications, and strong analytical skills.
Data and Digital Literacy: Possesses knowledge of data collection modes, techniques, tools, and data analytics. Responsible for articulating the levers that influence data, ensuring data quality, organizing processes and information for analysis, and developing and implementing technology changes across multiple processes within the assigned area.
Environmental Protection: Knowledge of environmental policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Supports regulatory visits, audits, and evaluates pollution control at facilities. Assists in integrating environmental considerations into process design and ensures compliance with legislation.
Operational Excellence: Knowledge of organizational processes, root cause analysis, SOPs, and OBW processes. Explains operational functions, supports process improvements, and understands key operational roles and interdependencies.
Partnership Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder management, engagement techniques, and communication. Supports project delivery, process updates, and demonstrates functional business knowledge.
Employee Health and Safety: Knowledge of OSHA guidelines, safety inspections, hazard monitoring, and safety record maintenance. Participates in inspections, maintains safety equipment, and supports continuous improvement and accident investigation processes.
Asset Protection Security: Knowledge of asset protection policies, safety laws, and regulations. Recognizes security breaches, assists in access control, and maintains loss prevention records.
EHS Training Delivery: Knowledge of training methodologies and content development. Supports training programs, manages feedback, and explains processes to contractors.
Risk Management: Knowledge of risk assessment and management tools. Produces reports, conducts risk assessments, and implements risk mitigation strategies.
Process Improvement: Knowledge of workflow analysis and problem-solving. Defines critical workflows, identifies systemic issues, and implements controls and improvements.
Influential Communication: Organizes and presents information credibly, influences stakeholders, and builds professional networks.
Transportation Operations: Knowledge of transportation laws, safety rules, and documentation. Ensures compliance, evaluates performance metrics, and manages transportation-related activities.
Additional responsibilities include developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and compliance.
Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management, Criminal Justice, Security, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
Option 2: 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety, or Asset Protection, Security within Supply Chain or Retail.
Associates are required to complete all job-related training and assessments.
Certifications such as Associate Safety Professional, Loss Prevention Certifications (LPC), Certified Security Professional (CSP), or similar. Investigative or asset protection experience in retail or warehouse, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
