Walmart is seeking an EHS professional to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote workplace safety. You'll oversee data analytics, conduct risk assessments, and enhance operational processes. Ideal candidates will hold relevant degrees and have proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office.
Data and Digital Literacy: Possesses knowledge of data collection methods, analytics, visualization tools, digital applications, data governance, and data science techniques. Responsible for problem delineation, root cause analysis, data quality assurance, dashboard creation, process automation, and technology solution development.
Environmental Protection: Knowledge of environmental policies, laws, and impact assessments. Tasks include evaluating pollution, supporting regulatory visits, integrating environmental considerations into processes, and ensuring compliance.
Operational Excellence: Understands organizational processes, SOPs, and workflow analysis. Explains operational functions, interdependencies, and process documentation.
Partnership & Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder analysis, communication, and engagement. Supports business case development, project delivery, and process updates.
Employee Health and Safety: Familiar with OSHA guidelines, safety audits, and emergency procedures. Conducts inspections, maintains records, and reports incidents.
Asset Protection & Security: Knowledge of theft prevention, security systems, and loss reports. Investigates breaches and supports loss reduction practices.
EHS Training Delivery: Understanding of training methodologies and content development. Supports training activities and feedback collection.
Risk Management: Knowledge of risk assessment processes and tools. Conducts risk evaluations and manages risk mitigation.
Process Improvement: Expertise in workflow mapping, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis. Implements process controls and improvements.
Influential Communication: Skilled in business communication, presentation, and relationship building. Uses data to support messaging and influence teams.
Transportation Operations: Knowledge of transportation laws, safety rules, and documentation. Ensures compliance and monitors performance metrics.

Option 1: Bachelor's in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Option 2: 2 years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety, or Continuous Improvement methodologies within relevant industries.
Certifications such as Associate Safety Professional, Loss Prevention Certifications, or Security Certifications; investigative or asset protection experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
