Position Summary...

What you'll do...

THIS POSITION IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR SPONSORSHIP

Leads Process Improvement tools and methods, such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, time and motion studies, to eliminate losses within a Distribution Center according to Network Process Structure using Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs.

Delivers functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and creating standard work to reduce process variation. Assists with review and response to process improvement projects owned by area managers.

Applies new network One Best Way playbooks and provides input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities.

Supports tactical deployment of WPS methodology, manages project execution of top losses, and assists in building capability of other managers and associates.

Supports loss profile analysis and performance metrics, develops gap analysis for WPS integration, and supports department managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements.

Leads savings projects by removing losses from processes, promotes company policies, initiatives, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Coordinates activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and building accountability for results.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing contributions.

Ensures compliance with policies and supports company mission and values, including ethics and integrity, by implementing related action plans and guiding others.

The annual salary range is $80,000 - $120,000, with additional bonuses and potential regional pay zones or stock options.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related experience, or 2 years' process improvement experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Co-Op/Internship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution with Lean/Continuous Improvement experience.
