Job summary

Apex Group seeks a Tax Senior Associate to deliver a full range of U.S. tax services for clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. You will prepare and review partnership tax returns and mentor junior staff.

The role requires hedge fund taxation knowledge, fund-structure experience, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time position with overtime during peak tax seasons.

Qualifications

• Prepare U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns for partnerships.
• Proficiency in hedge fund strategies (long/short equity).
• Experience with hedge fund structures (master-feeder, mini-master, fund-of-funds).
• Experience with financial services taxation (wash sales, QDI, PFIC, Section 1256, NPCs, Section 988, straddles).
• Experience with aggregate tax allocations.
• Experience computing taxable income and partner allocations.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and timely filings.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Team player with ability to multi-task.
