Job Description:

  • We are seeking a UX Content Designer to join the UX Product Design Team focused on modernizing and optimizing our Small Commercial agent quoting experiences.
  • This role will provide dedicated content design support to create best-in-class digital tools, with a focus on improving agent efficiency, satisfaction, and reducing costs.
  • You will collaborate across a strong UX organization of 60+ professionals, working closely with designers, researchers, engineers, and product owners.
  • This position is remote, available across any U.S. time zone, with an initial 1-year contract (possible extension or future conversion).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product owners, designers, engineers, and stakeholders in an agile environment.
  • Identify content opportunities to improve user experience through information architecture and effective use of language.
  • Write concise, effective content that adheres to tone, voice, and style guidelines.
  • Gather, analyze, and implement user feedback to optimize digital experiences.
  • Coordinate across multiple projects and workstreams within a complex product ecosystem.
  • Advocate for end-to-end UX best practices and champion content design systems.
  • Collaborate with research teams to ensure content decisions are user-centric and data-driven.

Must Have:

  • Portfolio demonstrating creativity, problem solving, and impact on user experiences (required for consideration).
  • Proficiency in Figma, Microsoft Word, and strong documentation/writing skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant content design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in external-facing digital applications with proven delivery on large-scale projects.
  • Experience working in agile/scrum environments, supporting multiple team deliverables.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-demand environments with strong boundaries and resilience.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Lucid and Jira.
  • Experience working in larger organizations.
  • Deep background in content audits, competitive assessments, persona development, and design thinking methods.
