Job summary

Napoleon Group of Companies in Kentucky seeks a US - Shipper/Receiver to perform loading, unloading, stocking and staging of materials in line with safety standards.

The role requires forklift experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, accurate cycle counts, and cooperation with multiple departments; indoor/outdoor duties year-round.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum of 1 year forklift operation experience in manufacturing, warehouse or logistics.
• Ability to load/unload trucks accurately and safely.
• Understand receiving and shipping processes with safety rules.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to work alone or in a team and follow safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills; RF scanner familiarity is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered and manual equipment to OSHA/company safety standards.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage materials per specs.
• Maintain neat, clean, and orderly material areas with proper stock rotation.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all seasons within safety guidelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships across departments with minimal supervision.
• Conduct frequent cycle counts with accuracy.
• Support supply and changeovers to machines and assemblies.
• Locate and pick stock for customer orders with safety in mind.
• Use scan gun/RF device to scan out customer orders.
• Provide hands-on training to coworkers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

US - Shipper/Receiver (Schedule Sun - Thurs. 10:00pm - 6:30am)

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, stacking, count and stage materials in the appropriate areas in accordance with company specifications and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• The ability to operate powered and manual equipment to OSHA/Company safety standards.


• Must have the ability to function in a fast-paced multi-functional environment where priorities change regularly.


• Responsible for maintaining facility materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion while ensuring proper stock rotation.


• Required to work indoors and outdoors throughout all seasons so long as it does not violate safety rules and regulations.


• Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with all departments while working with minimal supervision.


• Be able to conduct frequent cycle counts of product with accuracy.


• Support and supply department with required stock for process and support changeovers to machines and assembly fines.


• Be able to locate and pick stock for customer orders with accuracy abiding by all safety rules and regulations.


• Be able to utilize a scan gun to scan out customer orders.


• Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.


• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalency


• Minimum of one (1) year experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment


• Must be able to accurately and safely load and unload trucks for outgoing and incoming shipments.


• Must be able to understand and perform both receiving in and shipping out of product on a daily basis with accuracy and abiding by safety rules and regulations.


• Must be able to keep up in a fast paced atmosphere


• Must be able to work alone or in a team environment


• Basic computer skills and RF scanner experience are an asset
