Seasonal Tax Manager - Corporate Compliance and Provision - *Remote*

The opportunity

EY seeks experienced seasonal tax professionals. You will play a critical role in supporting our clients’ corporate compliance and tax provision processes. In return, you will work with engaging colleagues, receive hourly, overtime-eligible pay, and have the chance to refine your skills within our high-performing tax teams.

Your key responsibilities

As a seasonal tax manager, your primary focus will be on corporate compliance and tax provision review, assisting companies with all aspects of tax provision preparation. Hours are discussed during the interview, and you will be able to work remotely from within the United States, with no travel required.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strategic prioritization when managing multiple complex projects
• Influencing skills, confidence, and curiosity to question processes
• Technical writing and research in a tax context
• Knowledge of federal income tax accounting and financial statement tax accounting
• Experience in corporate tax planning, compliance, and federal income taxation
• Understanding of ASC 740 and/or IAS 12 under IFRS
• Comfort working remotely in virtual teams

To qualify for this role you must have

• Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in tax provision, tax accounting, and corporate tax compliance
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation in a business or industry setting
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

Ideally, you'll also have

• Proven excellence in public accounting at a top or mid-tier firm
