IBM Consulting seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer – AI to work with clients on production-ready GenAI solutions. You will prototype, deploy, and scale AI applications, combining software engineering, data science, and advanced analytics to deliver measurable business value.

You will build GenAI/RAG solutions, engineer agentic AI workflows, and ensure security, observability, and reliability across cloud platforms. Strong client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering delivering production AI solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with hands-on GenAI and agentic AI applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Experience designing agentic AI workflows and multi-step orchestration.
• Experience with REST/FastAPI, cloud AI platforms, and tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one major cloud AI platform (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or Google Vertex AI).
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.

Responsabilités

• Solve client challenges by identifying AI use cases and success metrics.
• Build and deploy GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI applications across cloud platforms.
• Engineer agentic and GenAI systems with LLM-powered agents and orchestration.
• Data engineering and integrations with enterprise APIs and data platforms.
• Scale and operationalize AI with MLOps/LLMOps, testing, monitoring, and governance.
• Drive business impact by presenting insights and enabling client adoption.
