Job summary

Viatris seeks a senior leader to head US Regulatory Advertising & Promotion. You will ensure compliant U.S. advertising, promotion, and related communications across products, partnering with medical affairs, legal, marketing, and commercial teams.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, cross‑functional leadership, and a track record of strategic guidance. Hybrid work is expected with onsite presence in the DC area, and compensation ranges significantly with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required; degree in scientific discipline preferred.
• Advanced degree (MS, PharmD, MD) is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in Regulatory Affairs with 5 years as a strategic leader in Advertising & Promotion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement A&P regulatory strategies for US products.
• Establish policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks aligned with global practices.
• Collaborate with medical, legal, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure compliant materials.
• Serve as primary liaison with FDA OPDP; lead submissions and regulatory interactions.
• Review promotional materials for accuracy and alignment with labeling and evidence.
• Build and optimize local A&P review processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage a 4–5 person team; coach and develop capabilities.
• Monitor FDA/FTC/SEC trends and communicate risks to senior leadership.
