Qualifications

• Must be current OCFA Firefighter (non-probationary)
• Participation in the OCFA WEFiT program
• Basic knowledge of US&R and GPS operations
• Ability to follow orders and manage personnel
• Effective oral and written communication
• Flexibility to resolve conflicts and solve problems
• Basic working knowledge of Word & Excel
• Willingness to work in austere environments for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Document, track, and retrieve information for US&R Plans during incident operations
• Participate in base camp and field operations
• Provide verbal and written interaction with all US&R Task Force sections
• Work in disaster zones and adverse conditions
• Represent local, state, and federal government during deployments
• Maintain communication with Task Force and Section administration via email and phone
