Qualifications

• Current OCFA firefighter (non-probationary), Fire Apparatus Engineer, or Fire Captain
• Basic knowledge of US&R and GPS operations
• Demonstrate the ability to follow orders and personnel management skills
• Must communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Willingness to work in austere environments for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Document, track, and retrieve information for the task force during incident operations
• Participate in base camp and field operations under hazardous conditions
• Provide verbal and written communication with US&R Task Force and officials
• Work in disaster zones, adverse weather, and aircraft operations
• Represent local, state, and federal government in diverse conditions
