Our Logistics and Mission Support Division is seeking a US&R Technician II to join our team in Edgewood, MD in support of Defense CBRN Response Force mission.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our team supporting the Defense Chemical Response Force (DCRF) mission and Command and Control CBRN Response Element - Bravo (C2CRE-B). This full-time position will be integral in maintaining and supporting US&R (Urban Search and Rescue) and Medical Company Area Support (MCAS) equipment for operational readiness and deployment.
This role is for a Technician II specializing in Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) equipment, supporting the Defense CBRN Response Force (DCRF) and Command and Control CBRN Response Element - Bravo (C2CRE-B) mission in Edgewood, MD. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting US&R and Medical Company Area Support (MCAS) equipment to ensure operational readiness and deployment. This includes preparing equipment for refresh and sustainment, managing inventory using dedicated systems, and coordinating logistics for equipment delivery and sustainment activities.
Successful candidates will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience with inventory systems, and the ability to work comfortably in both warehouse and field environments. A college degree or equivalent experience is required, with technical certifications or military experience being a plus. Preferred qualifications include US military experience, knowledge of US&R equipment, and small engine experience. This position requires approximately 25% travel for fielding and sustainment visits, U.S. citizenship, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
