Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an entry-level technician for field operations in Alaska. This apprenticeship includes a 90-day training period with industry-leading instruction.

Depending on the location, lodging and rotating schedules may be provided, and candidates must obtain a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or Class B license as applicable. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Able to pass background, physical, and drug screen.
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Able to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or Class B license depending on product/service line.
  • Satisfactory driving record with no DWI/DUI convictions in past three years or current charges.
  • Able to understand and follow routine oral and written instructions.
  • Flexible work schedule, long hours, on-call with short notice, and exposure to extreme weather.

Responsibilities

  • Undersupervision, learn basic safety, repair and operations procedures for equipment and tools.
  • Learn and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in pre- and post-job equipment inspections and related paperwork.
  • Assist in rigging-up and rigging-down of operation equipment including high-pressure connections.
  • Assist in completing preventative maintenance procedures and maintaining support equipment.
  • Assist in clean-up, repair, and preparation for a job.
  • Practice safe driving when traveling to and from locations.
  • Complete training per the Company’s learning development system.

Job Duties and Qualifications

Additional Information
  • Benefit enrollment begins within 30 days of hire date and coverage will become effective on the 90thday of employment.
  • Eligible to participate in the Halliburton Retirement and Savings (401K) Plan as of the first day of employment.
  • $500 sign-on bonus after the 90thday of employment
    • Sign-on bonus is subject to certain conditions and approvals by area leadership.
