Job summary

Galls, operating as US Patriot on Fort Drum, NY, is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, process transactions, and help soldiers and airmen find the right tactical gear.

You'll engage with customers on the sales floor, answer product questions, upsell when appropriate, and ensure displays are neat and stock is replenished. A High School diploma and friendly demeanor are required; prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Friendly, outgoing, and helpful demeanor.
• Must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to handle merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible shift hours, 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer promptly and in a timely manner, and be alert and responsive to all customer needs.
• Answer customers' inquiries including price, quality, fabric type, specifications, and usability of merchandise.
• Upsell customers on other products and recommend add-on items to enhance the order.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales.
• Replenish merchandise and monitor floor stock to ensure inventory is available.
• Maintain a clean and orderly store at all times.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Provide information regarding contract specifications and products with the contract.
• Handle irate customers in a professional, courteous manner.
• Assist with answering product questions over the phone.
• Communicate with the retail department and others to meet customer needs accurately.
• Adhere to the company's mission, policies, procedures, and practices.

US Patriot is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to match soldiers and airmen to the best brands in the business, including Nike, Oakley, and Under Armour. We have over 105 retail locations and multiple web portals to meet our customers' tactical gear needs.

As a Retail Sales Associate in a US Patriot/GALLS store, you can expect to provide exceptional customer service to our soldiers and airmen. You will engage with our customers on the sales floor, handle sales transactions, answer product inquiries, and assist customers in choosing the appropriate products to fulfill their needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assist with answering product questions and providing information over the phone
• Communicates and works closely within and outside the retail department to ensure customer needs are met with 100% accuracy

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
