Dow Inc. is seeking an experienced Natural Gas Trader to join the Feedstocks and Commodities group in Houston, TX. The role focuses on managing a large US natural gas portfolio and trading across gas markets, NGLs, and related commodities.

You will develop hedging strategies, execute derivatives, and work with analysts to deliver consistent risk-adjusted profits while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust risk controls. Dow offers extensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience.
Willing and able to travel as required for this role.
Flexibility to support the sites during off hours, especially during and after weather or other emergencies.
A U.S. work authorization with no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies in gas related markets.
Generate consistent trading profit and derivative results within approved risk parameters.
Execute transactions using futures, swaps, options, and other commodity derivatives.
Identify arbitrage opportunities and market dislocations across regions, products, and time structures.
Build and maintain relationships with traders, producers, consumers, refiners, marketers, brokers, exchanges, banks, and other market participants.
Support the research team on development of market views, pricing forecasts, and trading recommendations for senior management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.
