We are seeking a dynamic and experienced US Marketing Manager for Baxter Advanced Surgery to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the marketing strategy and execution for our advanced surgical products, including innovative surgical devices and technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the surgical landscape, strong marketing acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance our market presence and drive sales growth.

Baxter’s Advanced Surgery team provides lifesaving products focused on intraoperative hemostasis, sealing, adhesion reduction, and other specialty surgical procedures.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in the healthcare sector.
  • Product Management: Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring successful introduction of new products and enhancements to existing offerings.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide marketing tools, training, and support that address customer needs and drive sales performance.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, trade shows, and educational programs, to promote Advanced Surgery’s products.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and industry partners to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Medical, R&D, regulatory, and Sales Operation teams to ensure alignment on products and compliance with industry standards.
  • Budget Management: Manage a marketing budget effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to enhance return on investment on marketing activities.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, conferences, and training sessions.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in commercial marketing with 7 years experience, with a focus on medical devices or healthcare market.
  • Strong understanding of surgical markets and customer needs.
  • Consistent track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to influence and engage partners at all levels.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 - 143,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive.
