Overview

KPMG is seeking a US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming to join our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This remote position offers an opportunity to lead workplace safety initiatives across domestic and international operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert guidance in managing comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response programs aligned with KPMG operations.
  2. Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in workplace safety and incident response, considering firm risk tolerance and budget.
  3. Manage risk frameworks and collaborate with stakeholders such as legal, HR, real estate, and business leaders; develop training and awareness programs.
  4. Develop and deliver training, facilitate tabletop exercises, and support proactive planning and incident response to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of eight years' recent experience in workplace safety and incident response, with prior leadership of global safety programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments (e.g., OSHA) and safety management systems, with global situational awareness.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills; ability to operate in a matrixed organization and adapt to changing priorities.
  • This is a fully remote role within the U.S., with 5-10% travel as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
