KPMG is seeking a US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming to join our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide consultancy and guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  2. Ensure adherence to workplace safety and incident response best practices and standards based on firm risk tolerance and affordability.
  3. Manage risk management frameworks, coordinate with stakeholders (such as General Counsel, Talent and Culture, Real Estate), and develop learning and awareness programs for various audiences.
  4. Develop and deliver training and coaching for stakeholders.
  5. Perform subject matter reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support proactive planning and incident response, and maintain program offerings to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum eight years of recent experience in workplace safety and incident response; experience leading global programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats is preferred.
  2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of regulatory environments (e.g., OSHA) and experience deploying safety management systems.
  4. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly; experience working in matrix organizations and cross-functionally.
  5. Excellent communication skills for presenting complex issues, influencing, and negotiating; proactive in problem identification and developing new systems.
  6. This is a fully remote position within the U.S., with 5-10% travel as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
