Point72 is seeking an Analyst to join its Fundamental Equities team in Miami Beach. You will learn the investment process, conduct fundamental research, build financial models, and develop actionable recommendations for your PM.

This role offers a base salary range of $150,000–$240,000 per year (USD) with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits. Point72 emphasizes ethics, coaching, and long‑term growth through LaunchPoint and other development programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, hedge fund, investment management, private equity or another relevant industry role.
• Strong financial modeling and business analysis skills.
• Passion for public markets investing.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Learn your PM’s and team’s investing process and exchange insights, identify cross-sector themes, and debate investment ideas
• Build and refine detailed financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses of public companies within your sector
• Conduct fundamental research on individual companies, industries, and subsectors to identify emerging risks and potential investment opportunities
• Develop and present actionable investment recommendations directly to your PM
• Attend conferences and industry events
• Build relationships with relevant sell-side analysts, salespeople, and research associates
• Embody Point72’s commitment to ethics, professionalism, integrity, and excellence—especially in partnership with our Compliance team
• Analyze and incorporate macroeconomic and industry-specific developments and trends into your research
