Job summary

Prolific is seeking a US-based participant for a remote, task-based finance data contribution study. You will download and provide real financial data, across required categories, with strict authenticity and privacy rules.

The role pays per study, starting with a $10 eligibility screener and a subsequent $240 upon successful submission review. No finance background is required, and the task is flexible, typically taking 1–2 hours per participant.

Qualifications

• US resident, 18+
• Access to your own eligible financial accounts and data.
• Comfortable downloading and uploading files.
• Screenshots, synthetic or AI-generated data, and scraped data are not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Download genuine financial records from your own accounts.
• Provide data from 5 required categories plus at least 1 additional eligible app (6 apps minimum).
• Provide 2 financial documents you created yourself.
• Data must be genuine, recent (newest transaction within 60 days) and cover the same 12-month period.
• Upload and validate your files through Peak Talent, with guidance from Prolific.

The Opportunity

We are looking for US-based participants aged 18+ to take part in a paid research project using real-world financial data to help train AI models.

No finance background is required. The task is remote and flexible and takes approximately 1–2 hours for most participants.

Tasks

• Download genuine financial records from your own accounts.
• Provide data from 5 required categories plus at least 1 additional eligible apps ( 6 apps minimum ).
• Provide 2 financial documents you created yourself.
• Data must be genuine, recent (newest transaction within 60 days ) and cover the same 12-month period.
• Upload and validate your files through Peak Talent , with guidance from Prolific.

Files are redacted on your own device before upload. You will never provide passwords, account credentials, or live access to your financial accounts.
