Job summary

A Square Technologies is seeking a hands-on US Finance Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and controls for US operations, ensuring US GAAP compliance and accurate cash flow management.

The role, requiring a CPA and 10–15 years of experience, will manage a distributed team, collaborate with global finance, and drive scalable finance processes from a US base near Woodbridge, NJ.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is mandatory.
• 10–15 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and cross-border/offshore delivery structures.
• Familiarity with an ERP platform and advanced Excel-based analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual close, financial statements and group reporting.
• Design, document and maintain controls over revenue, billing, receivables, procurement, payments, payroll, journal entries and financial reporting.
• Drive invoicing timely and accurate, with contract terms as support and ensure collections.
• Oversee US banking activities, cash forecasting and payment controls.
• Coordinate tax compliance with advisers and oversee audits.
• Monitor client-level profitability and support pricing, budgeting and forecasting.
• Support acquisitions and post-acquisition finance integration.
