Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Support Engineer to deliver expert technical support to US Federal customers, ensuring SLA-compliant resolutions and strong customer relationships across distributed teams.

You will work four ten-hour US overnight shifts (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat), with daytime training in US-East for 3–6 months before switching to overnight shifts. 18-month progression path to other roles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Technical Support in technology businesses.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and developers.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert level service to US Federal customers.
• Ensure issues are resolved within contractual SLA.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers for technical support delivery.
• Continuously improve support processes and customer satisfaction.
