Validation Engineer – Telematics & Connectivity
Location: Atlanta, GA
Key Responsibilities
Perform full vehicle and telematics ECU updates (flashing, coding, activation).
Execute E2E, FROP, regression, and exploratory tests across various vehicle models.
Create, update, and execute test cases in STARC/JIRA.
Analyze logs using DTS Monaco, VAM, and related diagnostic tools.
Perform test drives, validate preconditions, and manage test environments.
Execute smoke tests for infotainment, connectivity, powertrain, and body functions.
Diagnose and resolve TCU/connectivity issues (flashing, connectivity, and data link issues).
Maintain zero unknown DTCs and ensure backend service availability.
Document hardware/software changes and track updates in JIRA.
Required Skills
Experience in automotive domain.
Testing experience in vehicle telematics and end‑to‑end connected services.
Hands‑on use of diagnostic tools: DTS Monaco/DTS9, TUT, WIN SCP, VAM, Diagnostic Portal, etc.
