Job summary

Arkeus seeks a Business Development Director for the United States to own the DoD UAS sales pipeline, build relationships with prime contractors, and drive multi-million-dollar production contracts for autonomous sensing payloads led by Warden.

In this elite hunter role you will map opportunities, engage with DIU/AFRL/NAVAIR/Army UAS, and coordinate with product and engineering teams to translate cutting-edge AI capabilities into mission-ready solutions while maintaining a fast-paced, startup

Qualifications

• 5+ years in defense business development, capture, or sales.
• Deep knowledge of UAS payloads, sensors, open architectures, and autonomous software.
• Understanding DoD procurement pathways and contract vehicles.
• Ability to discuss sensor specs, edge computing, and aircraft software with engineers.
• Active network across US DoD UAS offices and primes.
• Must hold or obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted advisor relationships with DoD stakeholders and US OEMs.
• Source, qualify, and close multi-million-dollar opportunities with USAF, Army, Navy, and SO UAS programs.
• Establish and scale strategic relationships with US UAS manufacturers.
• Lead capture strategy for targeted US government RFPs, OTAs, SBIR/STTR transitions.
• Translate complex user needs intoArkeus configurations for defense use.
• Coordinate product demonstrations and military flight trials.
• Provide market and competitor insights to product/engineering teams.
• Demonstrate leadership by prioritizing customer value and audacity.
