Requirement: US Courts - Business Solutions Specialist
Job Description: Forge is seeking a Senior Specialist to support the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AOUSC) Administrative Services Office (ASO) with program management business analysis and technical solution development services.
Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):
- Program support services for front office senior level directors and managers in the areas of project management, business analysis, and engineering services specific to Microsoft suite of tools.
- Leverage Microsoft technologies to provide program management business analysis and solution development services in support of front office senior leadership.
- Coordinate with the government to review work requests for priority, authorization, and acceptance.
- Develop solutions in accordance with US Courts and ASO policies and procedures.
- Provide testing of solutions to assure high quality of product delivered for acceptance.
- Capture development activities in MS Planner and/or MS Project.
- Document delivered solutions, as directed by the Project Manager.
- Work with the project manager and subject matter experts to understand, document and communicate business requirements and express these as system requirements.
- Work with the project manager(s), SMEs, and system integrators to ensure the requirements meet the needs of all parties.
- Develop, maintain, and document processes and procedures.
- Understand the various sources of data used by the ASO front office and be able to make recommendations to end users/stakeholders as to how to best meet data gathering and analysis requirements.
- Effectively transfer solutions into production use and transition to the support and operations teams.
- Provide general business analyst support.
Qualifications/Requirements:
The Candidate must have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. They must also build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The Candidate must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
We are looking for candidates who can provide technical and business analysis services to support the development and sustainment of automated processes and solutions which support the client mission. Must adhere to defined standards, processes, and provide timely access to relevant data. Support, master, and develop methodologies and tools in place to provide continuous improvement. Support front office senior level client directors and managers in meeting the goals and objectives of their mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study plus five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret and evaluate complex financial and business project data accurately.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools or MS SharePoint. The staff should also have experience with the Microsoft Power suite of tools (including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI), as well as Microsoft SharePoint Online.
- Ability to learn specialized IT applications and tools
