Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Controls Manager for the US Expansion Construction team to lead project controls across large capital programs from design through startup and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, Scheduling, Project Controls, or related field.
• 10+ years leading project controls, scheduling, or construction management on large capital projects.
• 8+ years supporting semiconductor manufacturing facilities or related high-tech projects.
• 10+ years building and developing high-performing construction teams.
• Expertise in project controls, scheduling, risk management, change management, and partner engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the U.S. Project Controls team, providing mentorship, coaching and strategic direction across major capital construction programs.
• Establish and maintain project controls standards, metrics, risk management processes, reporting frameworks, and change management practices.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, construction, procurement, commissioning, operations, contractors, and end users to achieve key milestones.
• Oversee schedule development, performance monitoring, resource planning, and consultant management; advance AI-enabled improvements in reporting and forecasting.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
