Job summary

Adf-Group-Inc. in Great Falls, MT is seeking a US CNC Machine Operator for day and night shifts to safely and efficiently run CNC equipment, read blueprints, and follow safety procedures to produce quality parts.

A night shift differential of $1.50 applies to any time worked past 4:30 pm. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED; completion of a CNC training program is preferred. Must be able to stand for 10 hours and lift up to 75 lbs. Location: Great Falls, MT.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machinery and reading blueprints is desirable.
• Completion of a CNC training program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow ADF safety procedures and practices.
• Safely operate CNC equipment and tools.
• Read metric and standard tape measures.
• Run basic IPS operations.
• Print and organize paperwork as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Identify and catch material imperfections in raw stock.
• Follow the Foreman’s material sequence.
• Log and track tooling used on each piece of equipment.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and work with minimal supervision.

General Expectations and Responsibilities

• Follow ADF safety procedures and practices.
• Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
• Can read and understand metric and standard tape measures.
• Able to run basic IPS operations.
• Print and organize per the proper paperwork.
• Basic understanding of reading/interpreting blueprints.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks for CNC equipment.
• Catch material imperfections in raw cutting material.
• Follow the order of material that their Foreman has posted.
• Log and track tooling used on each piece of equipment.
• Safely and efficiently run CNC equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Education, Training, or Work Experience

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
• Completion of a CNC Machinery training program preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand/walk for 10 hours at a time.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel for varying lengths of time.
• Ability to fully articulate shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist.
• Must be able to grasp and safely operate hand and power tools.
• Must be able to occasionally push, pull, lift, pull, or carry up to 75lbs.
• Must be able to work in various conditions (loud, hot, dusty, cold, etc.).
• Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend on ladder.
