Job description

Job Summary

RBC's Office of the US Chief Information Officer (CIO) oversees all technology supporting the firm's Combined US Operations (CUSO), including Capital Markets, Wealth Management, City National Bank, RBC Bank (US), and Global Asset Management within the US. This role involves supporting technology groups both directly and indirectly involved with CUSO.

What will you do?
  1. Collaborate with business partners to collect, analyze, and report on US IT organization Headcount data.
  2. Develop insights on optimization opportunities for US IT Staff and Roles.
  3. Coordinate with HR, finance, senior leaders, and other teams to align US IT location strategy with business goals.
  4. Work with the Global Location and Workforce team to ensure strategy alignment with global department ambitions.
  5. Prepare reports and presentations for proposals.
  6. Create KPIs to measure progress towards location strategy goals.
  7. Track and report on KPIs with technology management teams.
  8. Research industry trends to keep US IT Location strategy best in class.
  9. Manage real estate footprint and space constraints at Jersey City, coordinating move activities and desk assignments.
What do you need to succeed?

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Talent/Resource Management, Staffing Operations, Business Management, or related fields.
  • Experience in location strategy development and execution, preferably in technology.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data.
  • Project management skills for overseeing strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with leadership.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, strategic, and resourceful approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
