Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-to-end payroll and benefits administration.
• Experience with multi-state and Canadian payroll preferred.
• Degree in Accounting, HR, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and provincial compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for U.S. and Canadian employees.
• Manage benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
• Serve as backup for LOA administration and compliance tracking.
• Coordinate payroll journal entries and monthly benefit reconciliations with Accounting.
• Support year-end activities, including 401(k) census and audits.
• Assist with Canadian RSP enrollment and contributions.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, wage and deduction data, and tax documentation.
• Provide payroll and benefits reporting to HR and Finance leadership.
• Support workers’ compensation reporting in the U.S. and Canada and assist audits.
• Collaborate with HRIS vendor on system updates and issue resolution.
