Job summary

Scotiabank in Dallas, TX, seeks a Manager for US Business Continuity Management to lead BCM across U.S. operations. The role partners with Senior Manager BCM and cross-functional teams to ensure timely updates, testing, and regulatory alignment within an enterprise resilience program.

The position focuses on maintaining BCM deliverables, incident monitoring, reporting, and collaboration with risk and operations teams to strengthen the U.S. Operational Resilience program.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Business Continuity Management function is required.
• Strong communication and analytical skills (both written and verbal).
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or comparable.
• 3-5 years of experience in a related risk/control function (ideally in BCM).

Responsibilities

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Ensure BC Plan Owners meet all annual deliverables and maintain the integrity of their BCPs.
• Develop workarounds for critical processes, applications and vendors across all U.S. BCPs.
• Coordinate U.S. semi-annual and annual testing exercises.
• Monitor and track incidents; support escalation and remediation for operational resilience.
• Produce monthly U.S. BCM KPI/KRI metrics and prepare decks for quarterly meetings.
