Must Have Requirements:

• Security Clearance (assistance available if needed)
• Citizenship or Green Card

Your Responsibilities:

• Answer calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.
• Be prepared to take notes during calls.
• Familiarize yourself with industry-specific vocabulary, especially in healthcare.
• Render messages accurately and completely, without additions or omissions.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Facilitate clear communication between limited Russian speakers and clients.
• Participate in professional training and pursue certifications.
• Report to your team leader and adhere to dress code for video interpreting.

Background and Experience:

• Fluent in Russian, native in Spanish.
• At least 1 year of over-the-phone interpretation experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; legal terminology is a plus.
• Certifications like PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA are advantageous.
• High school diploma in your native language.
• High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.
• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory skills.

Technical Requirements:

As this is a remote role, ensure your home office meets these specifications:

• Dedicated high-speed internet (minimum 10 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload)
• Wired Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not permitted)
• Windows 10 or higher OS
• Computer with dual-core 2 GHz processor, at least 8 GB RAM
• Single device (no external devices like tablets or phones)
• External monitors and high-performance mode enabled
• Wired noise-cancelling headset with microphone (no Bluetooth)
