Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking a versatile Urology Technician/Nursing Assistant to support urologists and provide nursing care to patients. This dual role works under RN supervision and may perform orthopedic and urological procedures as needed.

The schedule is part-time with 36 hours every two weeks, offering 12-hour day shifts and every 3rd weekend/holiday. Experience in patient care and BLS/NCI certification are required, with tuition reimbursement options available.

Qualifications

• 3 months direct patient care experience acceptable in lieu of education.
• Minimum 3 months experience as nursing assistant, student nurse, medic, EMT or similar.
• BLS Healthcare Provider card current per policy.
• NCI certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to urologists and deliver essential nursing care.
• Operate under RN direction and perform orthopedic and urological procedures as needed.
• Be flexible to work in patient care areas throughout the hospital.
