Job summary

United Medical Systems is seeking a Urology Scrub Technician to support surgical procedures in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities include setting up ureteroscopy/laser equipment, assisting the Urologist, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant logs and inventory control.

Ideal candidates have certified scrub tech credentials and 1 year OR experience, with urology exposure preferred; familiarity with sterilization protocols is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Scrub Tech or CST preferred.
• Prior OR experience required or 1 year in OR.
• Urology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization protocols a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in accordance with Laser protocols.
• Moves and sets up ureteroscopy/laser equipment in OR prior to procedure.
• Assists Urologist in performing ureteroscopy and laser procedures.
• Report to facility 60 minutes prior to the start of the procedure.
• Submit complete treatment/billing logs per HIPAA policies.
• Review and maintain inventory and equipment.
• Maintain relationships with physician partners.
