Job summary

United Medical Systems is seeking a Urology Scrub Technician in Sarasota, FL. The role involves preparing and assisting in ureteroscopy and laser procedures, maintaining sterile protocols, and coordinating with facilities to ensure timely patient procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a 2-year degree and at least one year of OR experience, with Urology and Holmium laser familiarity considered a plus. Competitive benefits are offered and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Certified Scrub Tech or CST preferred.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience.
• Urology experience preferred.
• Holmium laser experience a plus.
• Knowledge of sterilization protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in accordance with Laser protocols.
• Move and set up ureteroscopy/laser equipment in OR before procedures.
• Assist Urologist during ureteroscopy and laser procedures.
• Report to facility 60 minutes before start of procedure.
• Submit complete treatment/billing logs per HIPAA policies.
