Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Urology in Boston, MA. The role focuses on compassionate ambulatory care, collaboration with care teams, and developing treatment plans for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include admin of meds, assisting with procedures, and providing pre- and post-operative teaching. Requires MA RN license; Associate's degree is required with Bachelor’s preferred. Full-time daytime schedule with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications/injections when necessary.
• Assist with office-based procedures when necessary.
• Perform pre-operative teaching and answer relevant questions.
• Perform post-operative teaching and answer relevant questions.
• Facilitate clinical sessions for physicians by reviewing patient history and recording information in the EHR.
• Return patient calls that require clinical input.
• Staff nurse triage phone line, fielding clinical calls from patients.
• Maintain Commonwealth of Massachusetts and MGH compliance requirements.
• Participate in the development and sharing of standard processes through interdepartmental meetings.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance.
